Samsung has officially launched two new devices known as Samsung galaxy J2 2016 and J Max in India . Hence, these two  devices  became the addition to Samsung J series.

The new Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 is the successor  J2 that was launched in 2015 . The new J2 2016 comes with two key features, Samsung’s Turbo Speed Technology and Smart Glow. The new smart Glow technology is a next-gen colour LED notification. Samsung’s Smart Glow technology consists of a LED ring around the rear camera which can be customized for app notifications or contact. With Smart Glow, Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 users can also choose their own color.

Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 features a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. The  device has a 1.5 GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 128 GB .

Looking at the camera, Samsung Galaxy J2 2016  features a 8 MP   AF rear camera and in front we get a 5MP selfie camera.

Now coming at J Max , there nothing much we can find extraordinary in this device other than the  battery and the screen size.

The 8.7mm thick J max  features  a larger 7-inch TFT display and is powered by 1.5GHz  quad-core processor. like the new J2 , j max also comes up with 1.5 GB of Ram and supports 8 Gn of internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD card.

Samsung Galaxy J Max features 8MP AF rear camera and 2MP  Front camera. As said above The highlighted thing in this device is that the device is backed up by massive  4000mAh of battery.

Both Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 and J Max smartphones come loaded with ‘Make for India’ innovations such as S bike mode and Ultra Data Saving mode (UDS). Samsung claims that the UDS can help users save up-to 50% mobile data. What’s new is UDS is the ability to save data while using Wi-Fi as well.

Now quickly looking at the availability and pricing of these two new devices :-

The Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 are available across all channels, at a price of INR 9,750, while the Galaxy J Max will be available from end July, 2016 and will be priced at INR 13,400.

Moreover, with the Galaxy J Max, consumers will get a Samsung Bluetooth headset in-box for a convenient calling experience and enjoy a one year premium ad-free subscription of Viu which offers unlimited Bollywood and regional movies, TV shows and webisodes.
The Galaxy J2 2016 is available in Black, Silver, and Gold colors while the Galaxy J Max will be available in Black and Gold.
