Ark : Survival Evolved developer Wildcard announced today that the game will feature local and online split screen support in the next update. As of now this feature is only announced for xbox one and its still a mystery whether the pc version will also get this feature or not. Here is the detailed single patch note:-

Fixed crosshair not appearing
Fixed some cases where you could lose character save data in local mode
Fixed fur armor colorization
Added 100+ more Official Servers
Improved speed of server listing
Fixed Taming Dinos losing Inventories/messed-up-Inventories upon reloading singleplayer save game
Fixed a memory leak that was typically causing crashes around the Volcano area
Increased server difficulty from 2.0 to 4.0, same as PC

Ark: Survival evolved is an open world action adventure,survival multiplayer game which is still in it’s early access stage. The game recently came to xbox one as game preview for Xbox one preview members only few months ago and since then its one of the most loved multiplayer survival on the console.
