Asus, MSI, Gigabyte and more have launched their Z590 motherboards at CES 2021, and some of the Z590 motherboards are looking to be very promising. The newer Z590 boards are compatible with current Intel 10th-generation Comet Lake-S processors, but they’re fully enabled with all the features of the upcoming 11th-generation chips as well.
These motherboards will have support for PCIe 4.0, so finally, the Intel platform will catch up with AMD’s 500-series motherboards. Intel Rocket Lake-S will also natively support faster memory from DDR4-3200 and higher with overclocking, some of the higher-end boards are tested for up to 5100MHz memory speed.
Intel is planning to launch Rocket Lake-S in Q1 2021, so we should be seeing these motherboards launch before that.
