Ark : Survival Evolved developer Wildcard announced today that the game will feature local and online split screen support in the next update. As of now this feature is only announced for xbox one and its still a mystery whether the pc version will also get this feature or not. Here is the detailed single patch note:-

Ark: Survival evolved is an open world action adventure,survival multiplayer game which is still in it’s early access stage. The game recently came to xbox one as game preview for Xbox one preview members only few months ago and since then its one of the most loved multiplayer survival on the console.
