We’ve already seen the Xperia Z3 leak out a few times but with Sony expected to unveil its new flagship phone early next month a fresh leak appears to reveal everything there is to know about the device. The upcoming smartphone recently passed through TENAA certification (basically China’s FCC), revealing most of the Z3′s hardware along with a few new photos.
The Xperia Z3 actually looks to offer pretty much the same specs as the Z2, including a 5.3-inch 1080p display, a 20.7-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a slightly faster version of the Snapdragon 801 processor. The design also seems pretty similar, though today’s TENAA filing confirms it should be slightly thinner and lighter. The new smartphone is also expected to feature slightly rounded edges compared to the Z2, and it looks like the device will come in black and white color variants.
We’re still waiting for an official announcement from Sony confirming the Xperia Z3, though that probably won’t happen until next month at IFA in Berlin.
