Xiaomi announced the launch on 28th December 2020 of their upcoming flagship phone for 2021, the Xiaomi Mi 11.

All this is protected by the latest Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus™ for best protection against scratches and drops.

The highlight here is that the Mi 11 comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

Performance:

The Snapdragon 888 SoC features a 5nm chip that uses Arm’s Cortex-X1 cores. Qualcomm also promises an incredible 35% GPU performance uplift with the newer Adreno 660 GPU. On AI, the all-new 6th generation Qualcomm® AI engine features a Hexagon™ 780 processor and delivers a combined 26 TOPS, a 73% increase versus the previous generation that results in industry-leading AI inferencing performances that are crucial for smooth creative photography and videography operations.

The Snapdragon 888 also reverts to a monolithic SoC design that integrates the 5G modem back into the SoC – in turn, this means that there’s more PCB component space available inside the phone and vendors can optimize their designs better.
