Gigabyte announced their new line RX 500 series Graphics cards. The gaming hardware manufacturing giant has just rolled out a set of AORUS premium brand cards. These cards are expected to take the gaming market by a storm. This dazzling line-up consists of the Aorus Radeon RX580 XTR 8G on the high end, followed by the Aorus Radeon RX580 8G, Aorus Radeon RX580 4G, and finally the Aorus Radeon RX570 4G. These AMD Radeon 500 series cards are powered by the third generation Polaris architecture based on GCN to power “every pixel on every device efficiently.”
The cards pack in faster clock speeds, ultra-quiet and efficient dual fan WINDFORCETM cooling system and customizable RGM illumination due to the ’RGB Fusion’ feature.
The entirely new RX 500 series cards feature an “OC mode” or overclock mode which helps achieve higher clock speeds in varying degrees. For instance, the reference design Radeon RX 580 is clocked at 1,340MHz while the flagship Aorus Radeon RX580 XTR 8G, is clocked at 1,425MHz in “Gaming Mode” and 1,439MHz in “OC Mode.”
