With merely 4 days remaining to the launch of their most anticipated title of 2016, Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ubisoft has come forward with Preload dates and timings also the dates and times of the Server launch and Title launch.
In a press release published on the The Division section of Ubiblog, Ubisoft has confirmed the preload dates and times.
Xbox ONE and PC (Steam/Uplay):
Date: March 3rd.
Time: CET (Central European Time)- 06.00 PM
AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time)- 04.00 AM on MARCH 4th.
PST (Pacific Standard Time)- 09.00 AM
GMT (Greenwich Meridian Time)- 05.00 PM
IST (Indian Standard Time)- 10.30 PM
PlayStation 4:
Date: March 6th
Time: 12.01 AM Local time(Account activation Timezones) except for Japan where it will available on March 8th, 12.01 AM.
However the Server Launch and Title Launch dates-times are a bit different case altogether. As per the facebook page of Tom Clancy’s The Division:
The Division servers go live officially on:
– March 8 at 12:01 AM in Australia (AEDT)
– March 7 at 01:01 PM in United Kingdoms (GMT)
– March 7 at 02:01 PM in France (CET)
However the copies will be activated at different times,
Xbox ONE owners will be able to enter the game on March 8 at 12.01 AM local time (Account activation timezone).
PS4 owners will be able to enter the game on March 8 at 12.01 AM local time however Japan will get access to the game on March 10 at 12.01 AM local time.
PC players on both Uplay and Steam will be able to access the game on March 8 at 06.01 AM CET which means that players on the East coast can start playing at 12.01AM while players on the West coast can start on March 7th at 09.00 PM. Players from India will be able to play on March 8th at 10.30AM.
Now Ubisoft have come forward with a message that due to the nature of the game, the reviewers will play with the normal playerbase and thus we should wait for the reviews to be fair and not influenced by the BETA impressions.
The Division was always designed to be a seamless online experience, giving players the option to play solo or group with fellow Agents to tackle missions and infiltrate the Dark Zone as a squad. Thanks to the feedback and participation of a record-setting 6.4 million players in the beta, we know many of you took up arms with others and saw first-hand how The Division’s unique gameplay experiences were brought to life by a large and active player population.
Since it’s impossible for us to populate the servers in a way that would adequately replicate playing The Division on launch day, reviewers will start playing the game along with everyone else when it’s released on March 8 – after the servers go live officially and globally at 00:01AM Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT). We anticipate there may be some impressions posted online within the first few days of launch that were based on experiences with The Division Beta, and we look forward to seeing streams, videos, and opinions that provide accounts of final, in-game conditions.
