With the launch of GTX 1050 series coming near, almost every company has started to announce their cards. One of the first companies to do that is Gigabyte. Let’s take a look at what they have in store for us.
To begin with, Gigabyte will have four flavors each for the GTX 1050 and the GTX 1050Ti. With the G1 GAMING edition leading the charge, followed by the WINDFORCE OC edition, the dual-fan OC edition, and the single-fan D5 edition.
Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti / GTX 1050 G1 GAMING.
These cards feature the creme de la creme of Gigabytes offering. Build around a specially binned Super Overclocked GPU, the G1 Edition comes with the WINDFORCE cooling and RGB Illumination along with a 4+1 phase VRM solution. While the Windoforce 2x solution keeps the card all nice and cozy, the RGB Illumination spices up things a bit. The 4+1 phase VRM keeps the card on its feet during overclocking.
Outputs wise the G1 Gaming comes with 3 HDMI ports in addition to a DVI-D port and a DisplayPort.
Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti / GTX 1050 WINDFORCE OC
Next up in the hierarchy is the WindForce OC. Featuring the WindForce cooler with 2 90MM fans, this card also comes with the same 4+1 VRM solution. However, it misses out on the RGB which might be a downer for some. Output wise we see 3 HDMI ports.
Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti / GTX 1050 OC
The GTX 1050 Ti / GTX 1050 OC comes with the same WindForce Cooler however with 2x 80MM fans. With not much info available on the VRM circuitry we believe this card much more geared towards silence than outlandish performance. Output wise we see 1x DP,1xHDMI, 1X DVI.
Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti / GTX 1050 D5
The D5 edition is completely geared towards the silent and SFF form factor as evident from the single fan design. With a custom designed cooler with a single 90MM fan, the D5 edition is guaranteed to give a low noise system without compromising on performance.
