ASUS has introduced its new mid-range device Pegasus 2 Plus which is the second installment of the Pegasus series which started with Pegasus X002. Pegasus X002,  the affordable 4G LTE smartphone was launched in the last year with a price tag of 799 CYN (Rs. 8,000 approximately). The Pegasus 2 is considered to be the successor of the Pegasus X002.

The ASUS Pegasus 2 Plus features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and is powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC & Adreno 405 GPU packed with 3GB of RAM. Last year, Pegasus X002 featured a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and 64-bit quad-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6732 processor packed with 2GB RAM.

It sports a 13-MP (4128 x 3096 pixels) camera with Dual-LED flash at the rear and an 8-MP front facing camera. It is a dual-SIM smartphone that is backed by a 3030mAh battery. It runs latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with latest, Zen UI skinned on top. It has 32GB of inbuilt storage, along with MicroSD support.

ASUS’s new mid-range device is going to be available in two colors- Rose Gold and White. Pricing and availability details are unknown as yet.
