The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt GOTY Edition May Be Coming Soon
The Wild Hunt Is Coming, Again ?
The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt, winner of multiple Game of The Year Awards ( 2015 ) roared into 2016 with its huge expansion, Blood and Wine. The game is truly deserving of being crowned as the king of all games of 2015. It is one of the best RPG’s to come out in years and definitely a winner in all aspects. Currently, one can buy the base game and the two expansions separately. This is the only option available right now when it comes to buying the Witcher 3. However, this might change soon as a Game Of The Year edition seems to be on the way.
USK, the German age-ratings board has listed The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt Game Of The Year Edition for all platforms ( PC, PS4, Xbox ) separately. Total War: Warhammer – Blood for the Blood God, Bounty Train, etc are also listed on the site.
Eurogamer has also shed more light on the subject. According to Eurogamer’s source, this is real and is releasing on the 26 of August.” Eurogamer has been told separately by a source that this game exists and will be released 26th August 2016. ” reads the article.
The Game Of The Year Edition will most definitely have the base game and the two expansions bundled into one, with everything patched. Some extra goodies will probably also make it into the package. There is no more information on the topic as of now. But that will surely change in the near future. Since CDPR already made it clear not to expect the Enhanced Edition, here’s to hoping the GOTY Edition is indeed real.
