Sony’s new flagship Walkman the ZX2 is finally unveiled at CES 2015 which is needless to say a serious audiophile grade device. Priced at $1200 this matte black premium equipment is a stunner with hardware buttons carved on it’s side and the golden audio jack port wider than the main frame on it’s bottom.
Powered by Android 4.2 the new Walkman ZX2 comes with an inbuilt 128 GB memory along with an additional microSD slot option (for another expansion upto 128 GB). It sports a 4 inch TFT / FWVGA (854 x 480 Pixels) display with Sony’s own TRILUMINOS tech and it can play all popular formats of audio ranging from DSD, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, Apple Lossless, WMA, and more. The battery as claimed by Sony with a 4.5 hours of charging time can drive the device for up to 60 hours (128Kbps Mp3) and 33 hours (Hi-Res Audio). Needless to say being a flagship device this comes with a lot of features and enhancements , some of which are Hi-Res Audio playback, Clear Bass, ClearAudio+, VPT and many more.
