Return To Arkham Is Not Returning Anytime Soon:

The Arkham series has been one of Warner Brothers’ most successful creations. Shortly after the release of Arkham Knight, WB announced remasters of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City and the project was named Batman: Return to Arkham. Originally slated for release on July 26, 2016. WB has delayed the release date indefinitely.

News about the delay surfaced in the form of an announcement made in the WB forums. It states: “After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuos Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.”

It goes on to state: “We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready. We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans.”

It is disappointing indeed. But it’s a step in the right direction for Warner Brothers. It looks like they have learned the lesson from the horrible launch issues that plagued the Arkham Knight. We have to wait at least for some time before we can experience the games on Unreal Engine 4. Here’s to hoping I’ll be worth the wait.
