OnePlus confirmed the launch of its upcoming OnePlus 9 series in India. The company has listed a microsite on Amazon Indian announcing the launch date of the OnePlus 9 series in India and across the global market on March 23. The great news is OnePlus has teamed up with camera manufacturer Hasselblad to bring amazing cameras. The camera specs have been leaked by a popular leaker Teme.
According to the recent tweet by Teme, the OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone will feature a front SONY 16MP IMX471 camera sensor. The handset is expected to feature a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP SONY IMX 789 Hasselblad tuned primary sensor, a 50MP SONY IMX 766 FFL Fixed Focus camera, an 8MP OmniVision telephoto lens with 3.3x optical zoom, and a 2MP sensor along with an LED flash. Its to be noted that the OnePlus 9 Pro wasn’t mentioned in the Twitter post.

OnePlus has announced that they are in partnership with Hasselblad for three-years. OnePlus will invest USD 150 million to co-develop the camera sensor of the OnePlus 9 series and upcoming OnePlus phones. The development will look to enhance the overall image quality of the photos taken and to push the best quality possible from the sensors.
OnePlus 9 series is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and flaunts an AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 65W fast charging with the charger included in the box. There is still no official information so we cannot confirm anything until March 23 launch event.
