A gamer has managed to attain an early copy of No Man’s Sky. He then played to his content and sold it for a whopping amount of profit.

SPOILER ALERT: The game has not released yet, so information regarding it may hinder your experience of the game. Also, it may just ruin some fun surprises that it may have in store. So the story is, a gamer who managed to buy an early of No Man’s Sky sold it to an eager fan for a generous sum of 1250 US Dollars.

Interestingly enough, the tale is spun on a sports forum called Operation Sports. A user, CampBlackMamba24 claims he’s acquired pre-release copy of No Man’s Sky and decided to share some info. The gamer claims he bought the copy of No Man’s Sky for $150 off of Craigslist. Likely a pre-release review copy, and proceeded to sell it on eBay for $1,250. This is actually the same user that made the $2,000 No Man’s Sky eBay listing. However, he accepted the $1,250 counter offer instead.

Additional Details on the leak:

It may seem a bit impossible here, but if you do get an early copy of the game, do know, the servers are already live, perhaps for the press copies. A quick list of general impressions and a bunch of screenshots have been added below from the forum posts:

  • Don’t expect mind-blowing graphics right out of the box
  • Don’t expect to take off flying when the game starts. Must put in some work
  • Game was extremely smooth. No frame rate issues at all
  • Expect to possibly not fire up another game for a while. I could tell in my short time that this game is gonna destroy some relationships and happy homes.
