Ubisoft Forward 2023, the Summer Game Fest presentation, treated Ubisoft fans to a thrilling showcase of upcoming titles. Among the highlights was the unveiling of Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, a mobile spinoff set in ancient China, and the immersive Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, a long-awaited game within the Avatar universe. The Crew franchise also made an appearance, with in-depth gameplay footage of The Crew Motorfest, a car culture celebration set to launch on September 14th. Additionally, Star Wars: Outlaws captivated viewers with its 10-minute gameplay walkthrough, showcasing the action-packed gameplay that players can expect. The event also brought surprises, such as the closed beta release date announcement for Skull and Bones, the highly anticipated pirate game.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes players back to ninth-century Baghdad as they follow the journey of Basim, a common thief haunted by visions. With the guidance of Hidden Ones Fuladh and Roshan, Basim sets out on a path to become a master assassin. The game emphasizes stealth gameplay, featuring classic tools like throwing knives and smoke bombs, as well as new abilities like Assassin’s Focus. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to launch on October 12 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Ubisoft Forward revealed Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, a stand-alone adventure set in the Avatar universe. Players assume the role of a Na’vi who awakens in the Western Frontier of Pandora, years after being abducted and raised by the human militaristic corporation known as the RDA. The game showcases Na’vi customization, combat utilizing human and Na’vi weapons, breathtaking aerial battles on customizable banshees, and a crafting system for gear and weapons. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will launch on December 7 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Luna.

If Ubisoft’s previous open-world games are any indication, Frontiers of Pandora will give players an unforgettable and immersive experience in the world of Pandora.

Star Wars Outlaws™

Ubisoft Forward introduced Star Wars Outlaws™, an upcoming open-world game set in the Star Wars universe. The gameplay showcased the daring scoundrel Kay Vess and her companion Nix embarking on a risky mission that involves stealth, combat, and stealing valuable goods. Players will navigate through the criminal underworld thriving between the events of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™ and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™ as they join the galaxy’s most wanted. Star Wars Outlaws is scheduled to release in 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

The Crew™ MotorFest

The Crew Motorfest, scheduled to launch on September 14, is an upcoming event that aims to provide an enjoyable experience for car enthusiasts. Available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC, this open-world racing game invites players to explore the picturesque island of O’ahu and engage in a variety of racing activities.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Ubisoft provided an exciting deep dive into Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The animated trailer offered a tantalizing glimpse into the world of Prince of Persia, while the gameplay demonstration highlighted the protagonist’s acrobatic prowess, fluid combat, and time-manipulating abilities.

Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones, the long-awaited pirate game from Ubisoft, finally revealed its plans for a closed beta. XDefiant, the upcoming free-to-play arcade shooter, is scheduled to launch later this summer on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. During the Ubisoft Forward presentation, Executive Producer Mark Rubin announced an upcoming Open Session from June 21 to 23. The Open Session aims to gather feedback and provide players with a taste of the fast-paced gameplay, featuring new maps, weapons, and game modes.

Fans of The Division can look forward to The Division Resurgence, a mobile spinoff set in a mid-crisis version of New York, offering an immersive MMO experience on Android and iOS devices this fall. Additionally, Ubisoft unveiled crossover collaborations, including Jet Set Radio crossing over into Roller Champions and Brawlhalla featuring a Master Chief, Combat Evolved crossover.

Assassin’s Creed Nexus is a thrilling virtual reality experience set in the world of assassins.
