Biostar announces RACING B360GT5S and RACING B360GT3S

While the official launch is still a day away, Biostar decided to jump the gun without spilling too much about Intel’s new mid-end chipset.

Following the Z370 racing lineup, Biostar today announced the B360GT5S and B360GT3S.

The Racing B360 GT5S is an ATX motherboard with support for dual-channel DDR4 up to 2666MHz. It comes with 3x PCI-E 3.0 x16 slots and 3x PCI-E 3.0 x1 slots, also packing two M.2 32Gb/s slots with dedicated cooling.

I/O wise we have a legacy PS/2 connector, two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports with the usual audio ports. There are HDMI 1.4, DVI-D and D-sub connectors for people with onboard graphics.

The Racing B360 GT3S, on the other hand, is mATX. The board offers the same design, M.2 capability, and rear I/O. The main difference is in power design. The B360 GT5S has 11 Phase power design while the B360GT3S has a 7 phase power delivery.
