Game delays are very common nowadays.2014 was a year where most of the big AAA titles got delayed for 2015.Among them one is Rocksteady’s last game of Arkham Trilogy Batman Arkham Knight.At the announcement it was decided that the release date will be 14th October 2014.Later they postponed the game release to 2nd june 2015.Today Rocksteady revealed a new gameplay footage running on a Playstation 4 system where the new release date was revealed.Batman Arkham Knight will now release on 23rd June 2015 instead of previously announced 2nd June,a three week delay.Rocksteady said and we quote “We’re a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it’s going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy,as a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video.” You can watch the latest trailer below:-


The new release date also confirms that the game is now delayed for almost 8 months from its previously announced date.Recently games like Watch Dogs,Assassin’s Creed Unity,Halo Masterchief Collection all suffered various issues at launch so only time will tell if this delay actually turns out as blessing or curse.Batman Arkham Knight will release on Ps4,Xbox One and PC on June 23rd 2015.
