Thermaltake has introduced the Stage 500 TG ARGB, a mid-tower chassis designed around the idea of turning a PC build into a visible showcase. The case combines a one-piece curved tempered-glass panel with a dedicated front display area, wooden accents and integrated lighting.
Available in Black and Snow editions, the Stage 500 TG ARGB is aimed at builders who want the hardware itself—and additional collectibles or decorative pieces—to remain part of the overall presentation.
Curved Glass and a Dedicated Display Stage
The defining feature is a single-piece curved tempered-glass panel extending across the front and side of the chassis. Thermaltake says the design reduces visual separation between the two panels, providing a wider view of the internal components.
The front of the case also incorporates a dedicated display stage. This provides space for figures, collectibles and other decorative items without requiring users to modify the internal hardware layout.
A wooden accent forms part of the chassis base, providing a contrasting material against the glass and metal construction. An integrated light strip at the bottom adds ambient illumination and contributes to the floating appearance of the chassis.
Four Pre-Installed Infinity ARGB Fans
Thermaltake ships the Stage 500 TG ARGB with four 120 mm Infinity ARGB PWM fans.
Three reverse-blade fans are positioned on the right side for intake, while another 120 mm Infinity ARGB PWM fan handles rear exhaust. The configuration provides a ready-to-use airflow setup while keeping the lighting visible through the glass panel.
The chassis supports up to seven fans in total, including up to three 140 mm fans at the top.
Hardware and Cooling Support
Despite its showcase-oriented design, the Stage 500 TG ARGB supports standard and back-connect motherboard configurations.
Compatible motherboard formats include:
- Mini-ITX
- Micro-ATX
- ATX
- Back-connect Micro-ATX
- Back-connect ATX
Hardware clearance includes graphics cards up to 450 mm long, CPU coolers up to 175 mm tall and PS2-format power supplies up to 200 mm long.
For liquid cooling, the chassis can accommodate a 360 mm radiator at the top.
Storage support consists of one 3.5-inch HDD and one 2.5-inch SSD, or up to two 2.5-inch SSDs.
Connectivity includes USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.0 ports and HD Audio.
Optional 6.0-Inch LCD Screen
Thermaltake also offers the option of adding its separately sold 6.0-inch LCD Screen Kit.
The display is managed through TT RGB PLUS 3.0 and can be used for system information, GIFs, time and weather. It gives builders another configurable display element without changing the basic chassis design.

Closing Context
The Stage 500 TG ARGB takes a somewhat different approach to the conventional tempered-glass gaming case. Its curved glass is paired with a purpose-built display stage and wooden base, while the internal layout retains support for full-size ATX hardware, high-clearance graphics cards and a 360 mm radiator.
The result is a chassis positioned around showcasing both the PC and the space around it, rather than treating the hardware as the only visual element.
