Press Release : Thermaltake Riing LED RGB Radiator Fan TT Premium Edition
Taipei, Taiwan – July 27th, 2016
Thermaltake introduced the Riing LED RGB Radiator Fan TT Premium Edition. Its first digital radiator fan series, a patented LED circular 256 multicolored 120mm radiator fan with Riing RGB Software. The blades are optimized to generate large air volume to achieve the best cooling. Moreover, the fan features hydraulic bearing that promises ultra-low noise. Specially designed anti-vibration pads are housed on the four corners of the RGb fan to strengthen stability. The provided software is a unique feature of this range. The switch between ” Performance ” and ” Silent ” mode can be made by simply dragging the “Fan Mode” bar. In addition, the “RGB Cycle” allows users to switch to a 256 multicolored mode. Also, the lighting effect of the patented LED ring is visible from all direction.
Let’s dive into the finer details of things, starting with:
Thermaltake Riing RGB Software :
Touched on earlier in the article, let’s take a more detailed look at the software. It supports 6 languages and allows connection with a maximum of 16 digital fan hubs. There are two modes, ” Performance ” is 500~1400 R.P.M, while ” Silent ” is 500~1000 R.P.M. In addition, the “Color Palette” enables users to set the fan color to whatever they want. The control panel is also designed with a “LED Brightness” bar, allowing users to adjust the lighting effect for each fan. Moreover, by clicking “Copy Color”, users can readily apply the color of the first fan to the rest of fans. Another featured function of the software is real-time fan warning alert. Once the fan stops operating, the control panel of the failed fan will gray out.
Digital Fan Hub :
Self-contained digital fan hub allows users to connect up to 3pcs of Riing RGB fans. Additionally, on the back side of each fan hub, a DIP switch allows users to set a number for the controller.
Eleven Fan Blades :
Eleven fan blades are engineered to generate large volumes of air. The cooling system makes for a perfect balance between silent operation and performance. In addition, the Riing LED RGB fan is designed with PWM function minimizing noise while allowing the motherboard to run the fan at a precise and necessary speed.
Hydraulic Bearing For Low-Noise :
Self-lubricating, high-quality hydraulic bearing reduces friction and lowers operation noise improving efficiency. The seal cap prevents lubricant leakage and improves the lifespan of the unit.
Wind-Blocker Frame :
The wind blocker frame is designed to direct airflow towards the middle section of the blade, thereby creating a compression effect and blocking any air from escaping. This special design reduces the blade’s noise and vibration, maximizing cooling potential.
