WhatsApp addicts with an Android Wear watch can now read and reply to incoming messages from their wrist. The app’s latest update, which is available now from Google Play, delivers full Android Wear support — as well as improved message storage and some bug fixes.

WhatsApp first added Android Wear support to its beta release earlier this month, and now that it’s stable, it’s available to all users inside the public “2.11.362” build. The WhatsApp companion app for Android Wear will be automatically installed on your smartwatch when you update the Android app on your smartphone.

Once installed, WhatsApp notifications will appear on your wrist as they arrive, and you’ll be able to read them in their entirety without pulling your phone out of your pocket. You’ll also be able to swipe left and right to view other messages, and send replies using your voice. If you’re busy, you can ignore them by swiping them away — just like any other Android Wear alert.

This WhatsApp update also includes “improved message storage reliability,” and some bug fixes that should improve stability and reliability. You can download it now from Google Play.
