Conclusion

We opted for a non K processor because this game is primarily targeted for gamers who want maximum performance out of the box, and prefer a balanced system. We went with the i5 6500, because this chip manages to chug out 60 frames per second without bottlenecking the system, on the GPU side the 970 manages to hold out pretty well when it comes to 1080p managing ultra settings most of the time without breaking a sweat.

We also went with a liquid cooler for this system, because long term gaming sessions produce a lot of heat that can damage and reduce the life cycle of the components.

For RAM, we went with the Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2×8 kit because Corsair makes excellent durable memory kits that have excellent performance, DDR4 is also future proof and with prices dipping to more ‘buy’-able ranges the Vengeance was a no brainer.

Storage is important for any gamer, and the 1 TB WD Black ensures that you have space to store all your favorite games.

A PSU should always be given the most priority, since they are responsible for powering the entire system. A reliable PSU with high efficiency should always be the target of any build, and the G650w from the house of Thermaltake is an excellent PSU that is gold rated, managing to tick a lot of checkboxes on our list.

The GW2470H monitor is a FHD monitor and has excellent viewing angles, perfect for 1080p gaming.

No gamer is complete without a good keyboad and mouse, the Devastator combo packs in two great products from Cooler Master, so that your kills are high and deaths low.

Finally, a cabinet is always important as a properly designed tower ensures proper airflow and therefore, a well cooled system. The Versa N25 is an excellent case and thus perfect for housing our system.

So that’s all for folks, next up on the menu ? an enthusiast build with a budget of 130k and an overclockers starter build. Keep an eye on our site for updates !
