Intel Core i9-9990XE: Up to 5.0 GHz, Auction Only

According to the folks over at Anandtech, Intel is planning to release an OEM only SKU in the high-end desktop lineup. This new chip will be known as Core i9-9990XE which makes it the highest number part in the Skylake-X lineup. The current king would still be the the highest clocked processor in the form of i9-9980XE The Core i9-9990XE will be a 14 core processor with a base clock of 4.0 GHz and boost clock of 5.0 GHz. Intel officially announces Skylake-X and Kabylake-X processors.

Anyone following the computing scene lately has been bombarded with Intel rumors.
