“Due to a surge in high-end crime across southern San Andreas, demand for luxury goods and services is at an all-time high,” Rockstar teased. “Upscale merchants of all kinds are scrambling to fill their inventories to serve the newly wealthy. The first of two major deliveries this summer will be hitting the showrooms of luxury car dealerships, the shelves of top arms suppliers and other prestigious retailers in June.”

Rockstar didn’t go too much into specifics regarding the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 update, but did share some screenshots highlighting some of the new rides and accessories coming to GTA Online next week.

Ill-Gotten Gains was first  teased by Rockstar back in May. While this update will be available on all five platforms GTA 5 is on, it could be one of the last updates to arrive on Xbox 360 and PS3. During a Q&A session last month, Rockstar noted hardware limitations could prevent future content from arriving on the Xbox 360 and PS3. The first example of such is the Rockstar Editor which is only set to arrive on Xbox One and PS4.

Part 2 of this DLC will also release sometime during the summers , although R* has yet to provide a release date .

GTA V has shipped nearly 52 million copies across all platforms. Rockstar has continuously updated their ambitious title with regular new content . Ill Gotten Gains is also the first piece of major DLC coming to PC .
