A brand new series of gaming laptops have been unveiled from Asus Rog. These new laptops are running NVIDIA Geforce GTX 10-series graphics cards.
These laptops are top-of-the-line tech with NVIDIA’s latest graphics cards powering them. Among these, the sizable 18-inch GX800 laptop takes the lead with it’s 4K display and Geforce GTX 1080 in SLI. Because you can always have double your graphics computing hardware.
Asus ROG GX800
The leader of the laptop series, ASUS ROG GX800, containing the massive 18-inch 4K display also has NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology. Other primary features are, the MechTAG (Mechanical Tactile Advanced Gaming) keyboard. This super-crisp keyboard has mechanical switches and is customizable with RGB LED backlights. Considering the beefy GTX 1080 SLI fitted into this laptop, there is a need for a 2x330W power adapter.
Asus ROG G752VS and G752VM
Next in the line of laptops, is the ROG G752VS. This features a Geforce GTX 1070, 6th-gen Intel Core i7 CPU and DDR4 memory upto 64GB. Since the processor is overclocked, gamers can easily run it at up to 4GHz. The display is a fast, 120Hz panel for fluid and precise gaming. There is another variant from Asus, the G752VM. This laptop has a GTX 1060 and can be fitted with the same i7 CPU and upto 64GB RAM.
Asus ROG Strix GL502VS, GL502VM and GL702VM
Down the line of ROG laptops, the ROG Strix GL502VS, GL502VM and GL702VM aims for the mid-range market. Among these, the GL502VS is the smaller and lighter gaming laptop, which contains a Intel Core i7 Processor, GTX 1070 GPU. The GL502VM and GL702VS are powered by the Geforce GTX 1060. All 3 of these models have a 15-inch display.
We are interested to see how these will affect the Indian laptop market. As there is certainly a demand for high-end gaming laptops here since a few years.
