The Rampage V Extreme brings into the mix a few notable features, like

X Socket

Universal mounting for existing LN2 or dry-ice evaporator pots to the latest LGA2011-v3 socket along with high end air coolers.

Extreme DC U II cooling for the VRM

the DCUII cooling from GPU sides makes an entry into motherboards in this board.

Extreme Engine Digi+ V

Powered by PowIRstage IR3555 the new vrm has been upgraded from the last flagship. It also allows for pulse-width modulation (PWM) implementation scaling to 1MHz increments, which by Asus’s own words will allow

the DRAM VRM to achieve a 40% increase in stability(more stable RAM Overclocking in short).

OC Socket

The next big thing in overclocking.
Asus uses special LGA2011-3 O.C. sockets feature pins which Intel uses only for testing of chips, but locks them down in retail motherboards. Asus circumvented this using a special socket which allows increasd Vcore to 2.1V – 2.2V, up from the standardized 1.2V.

you can read more about it here

OC Panel

Asus exclusive panel for out of case overclocking which includes real time monitoring and overclocking tools.

Apart from that we have a few more features like Subzero Sense, VGA SMB, VGA Hotwire, Slow Mode and Pause.

We will be talking in details about these features when we get our hands on the Rampage V Extreme

For now we wait..
and for those who want to buy it first day the expected price would be around INR 37000.
